2008.
This post has the last of my coloured pokemon - for now. From Smeargle onwards, they're not coloured anymore. It's partially because I'm too lazy to colour, and also because I think it's better to be left uncoloured. I feel that there is way more room to be creative and imaginative without colour compared to one with colour. Anyways, they're all created with a mechanical pencil and Faber-Castell colour pencils.
I love Bulbasaur's sharp, piercing look. It has the perfect image as I wanted it. The colour pairs nicely too.
Celebi is one of my favourite coloured pieces. The colour blends very nicely and I feel that the colour pencil used is the spot-on tone for Celebi. It has a very smooth finish too, which makes it look fantastic.
Claydol is just huge - tough to get the proportions right back then. Still, the colouring makes up for it. The brown colour is just right for Claydol and it has this unique look on it.
Smeargle looks glamorous in every way - the way it is uncoloured, the way it holds the tail, and the way it looks. It's bending slightly in the drawing though.
